This week was a bit different. I had to scan movies for good dialog that requires only one character to be on screen and is less than 10 seconds. It’s a harder task than it sounds. The fun part, after choosing three pieces of audio, was to act out (lip sync) each piece on camera. I probably filmed each one of these 50 times looking for just the right acting. My mentor liked all of them!!! He suggested that I would learn the most from Clip #2....subtle acting and some mechanics. I’m going to dress it up with a spaceship set! I have 5 more weeks on this shot in this term and then it will carry over and I’ll do the lip sync and facial expressions in Class 4! Wish me luck!
